As you interact with the App, we collect information about your location to determine pickup and drop-off points for trips. We refer to this information as “Device Information.”
Additionally, when you sign up for our service, we collect certain information from you, including your name, email address, and phone number. We also collect location data for each trip you take. We refer to this information as “User Information.”
We use the User Information that we collect to provide the designated driver service, including processing bookings, communicating with you, and ensuring the safety and security of our service. We do not use this information for advertising purposes.
We use the Device Information that we collect to improve and optimize our App, including by determining device compatibility and support needs
We do not share your personal information with third parties except as necessary to provide the designated driver service. Specifically, we may share your User Information with the driver assigned to your trip for the purpose of completing the service. We do not share your Device Information with any third parties.
We retain your User Information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the designated driver service. If you wish to delete your account and associated data, you can request this by contacting us at info@buddys.co.za
We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
